Our Story

We are a registered charity. Our aim is to run a cafe were the food is of a high quality but very reasonably priced. All the profits we make will be used to provide free meals for children during school

holidays and free meals for families who are in need, as well as supporting groups like M.I.N.D who will be using the cafe as a meeting place to support those with mental health difficulties.

We took over the building over a year ago with the aim of renovating it into a Community Cafe. As a charity our funding was very limited and so we relied on the kindness and generosity of family, friends and trades people.

We would like to mention just a few of the people who have helped us to achieve this..

• Callum at Surefire Central Heating 01744 613067 who did all our plumbing work.
• Keith the Electrician 07960 798652, who sorted out all our electrics.
• Pilkingtons who provided all the carpet tiles.
•  Ste Greenall and Ste Pikering who laid the carpet tiles and  also laid all the flooring in the rest of the building.
• The Hope Centre who provided the cooker and kitchen tables.
• All our staff and volunteers who give generously of their time. Your support is much appreciated.
